 In my opinion, the Bristol is much harder to land.

 That one took some figuring out from me. Turns out you need pretty much 50% throttle on touchdown.

 i think how much throttle you need depends on speed, AoA, etc. .... i've often landed the Bristol with idle throttle with no problems

 sounds like you're just dropping too hard ... maybe a shallower approach would help?

 Maybe. One day I decided to try landing with power and it went perfect.

 well, whatever works! any landing you can walk away from is a good landing ... any landing where they can re-use the plane is a GREAT landing. ;)
