 I like mid-war aircraft too... but from the later period, Dr.I or SPAD XIII are classics... both brilliant in two different spheres. I really am not fond of SE5a or Camel.

 it does and doesn´t at the same time... Dr.I one is splendid even at low speeds, D.VIII floats at low speeds, loses maneuverability and ... is quite useless... it is maneuverable between 140 and 180 kph, below that it floats
